Fun facts about Bulls:

Thousands of years ago, human beings began using cattle as a source of food, clothing material, and transportation. Farmers have different names for the different kinds of cattle.

A bull is an adult male bovine that can still be a father. Farmers usually keep few bulls around the farm because they are larger and more aggressive than the female cows. One bull can father calves (baby cows) with many different cows. For this reason, serious cattle ranchers take special care to feed their bulls healthy diets.

Male cattle that cannot father calves are called steer, and they are often killed for their meat. Sometimes, they may help to haul things around the farm. Then, they are called oxen.

Bulls are important animals in many ancient cultures. In India cows are sacred. They were also important symbols of fertility and creation in Ancient Egypt and Greece.
