Tyrannosaurus Rex

Tyrannosaurus Rex, which means "tyrant lizard king," lived throughout Asia and North America during the Late Cretaceous Period.

It stood fifteen feet (5 m) high, grew to forty feet (12 m) in length, walked on two legs, and ran at high speeds. Huge four-foot-long (1 m) jaws and fifty to sixty sharp teeth gave T-Rex a bite powerful enough to crush the horns and protective plates of other dinosaurs. These dinosaurs fought fiercely among themselves.

Some scientists believe the T-Rex relied on scavenging for food rather than hunting, due to their short arms and small eyes.
