Its powerful, crocodile-like jaws and sharp teeth helped Spinosaurus attack and hold on to its prey. It fed on big fish that filled the shallow waters in North Africa. Spinosaurus got its name from the six-foot-high (2 m) spines that ran down its back. It stood on two powerful legs and grew between forty to fifty feet (12-15 m) long. Notes: IMPORTANT:
