Ornithomimus

During the Late Cretaceous Period, Ornithomimus was the fastest animal on Earth due to its slender body and long legs; it could run over forty miles per hour (64 km/h).

Named Ornithomimus, “bird mimic,” for its birdlike body and movements, it used its weak, beaked jaw to eat both plants and small animals.

Ornithomimus was one of the most intelligent dinosaurs due to its large brain cavity. Its fossils have been found in Canada and the U.S.
