Giganotosaurus

Giganotosaurus lived during the Early Cretaceous Period in South and North America.

It was the longest known carnivore, measuring forty feet (12 m) from head to tail. Its skull alone was six feet (2 m) long and filled with dozens of eight-inch (20 cm) teeth. Size and strength helped it hunt large herbivores such as Argentinosaurus.
