Ceratosaurus

Ceratosaurus lived during the Late Jurassic Period in Utah and Colorado.

Because of the large horn on its nose and the smaller horns above its eyes, it was named Ceratosaurus, which means “horned lizard.”

Ceratosaurus had a twenty-five-foot-long (8 m), bulky body. It walked on two legs and had an unusual curved neck, like a bird. Ceratosaurus used its four clawed fingers to overpower larger dinosaurs.
